
TOKYO: Japan warned its citizens in Israel to be extremely careful and prepare for “unforeseen situations,” and those staying in other countries to take precautions following the Iranian drones and missiles attack on Israel on Sunday.
“Please, for your safety, stay away from Israeli embassies and other Israeli-related facilities as much as possible. Stay informed by checking the latest updates from the foreign ministry in Tokyo,” the advisory emphasized.
The ministry also warned the Japanese to avoid getting close to Israeli-related facilities, including Israeli embassies in various countries, as much as possible and collect and confirm the latest information from multiple sources.
The ministry advised Japanese people traveling overseas “to inform their families, friends, workplace, etc. of their itinerary and contact information at their destination “just in case.”
