SEOUL/TOKYO: North Korea fired a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan, the South Korean military said Monday.

Japan’s Defense Ministry also said that a possible ballistic missile was launched from North Korea. The object is believed to have already fallen, according to the ministry.
