In a message accompanying the demonstration, the question was asked: “Is it okay to celebrate Christmas endlessly like this?” It then offers the reminder: “People were killed in Gaza again today.” (ANJ)

TOKYO: A demonstration in support of Gaza was held in Tokyo on Saturday and it compared the joy of people celebrating Christmas around the world while the people of Gaza are suffering.

In a message accompanying the demonstration, the question was asked: “Is it okay to celebrate Christmas endlessly like this?” It then offers the reminder: “People were killed in Gaza again today.”

It added that the birthplace of Christmas is Palestine, but on Christmas Eve last year, more than 70 Palestinians were massacred.

“Western Christian communities support the slaughter and genocide of children in Gaza while celebrating the birth of the child Christ,” it said, criticizing those who imitate the West and buy Western products.

“As long as we remain silent, our lives will increasingly be eroded by the supporters of the massacre,” the message raided by the demonstrators continued. “The pensions and taxes we pay are also increasing investment in Israel’s arms development.”

“Let’s choose our own way of life with our own voice, our own sound, and our own will, resist the great silence of the world and raise our voices against the massacre and genocide.”

It added: “The fight and resistance should continue until the day Palestine is freed from illegal occupation.”
