
The Japanese embassy in Bahrain organized a cultural event recently to celebrate the 65th birthday of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito.
The event was organized by the Japanese Ambassador OKAI Asako and was attended by various officials, such as Brazil Ambassador Adriano Silva Pucci and Nepal Ambassdor Tirtha Raj Wagle, as well as diplomats and entrepreneurs.
The Brazilian Ambassador reflected on the bilateral relations between the two countries, saying, “The Japanese community outside of Japan that’s in Brazil, with their heartwork and ethics, they contributed a lot to the development of Brazil so I’m really thankful and grateful to Japan for the partnership and friendship.”

Additionally, Raj Wagle commented on the reception, saying, “(Japan) is wonderful. It is a very vibrant culture and everyone loves the food.”
The event began by playing the national anthems of both countries, followed by a speech delivered by the Japanese Ambassador, where she showed gratitude to Bahrain for participating in this national occasion.
The reception showcased different parts of Japanese culture, such as anime figurines and Japanese calligraphy.
