OSAKA: The UAE Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo announced that it had welcomed its one millionth visitor on Friday, with UAE Ambassador Shihab Al-Faheem greeting the millionth guest, a construction worker from Kobe, and presenting him with a special commemorative certificate.

“Reaching 1 million visitors today fills us with immense pride and reaffirms the Pavilion’s role as a vibrant platform for fostering cross-cultural dialogue and innovation,” the Ambassador said. “Each visitor who walks through our doors becomes part of the story we are telling. It is a story that reflects the UAE’s values, our people and our vision for the future.”

Since opening, the UAE Pavilion has proved to be popular thanks to its immersive exhibits and striking design.

Built around the theme “Earth to Ether,” the Pavilion offers a multisensory journey through the UAE’s story, highlighting the people and innovations shaping its future, drawing on the UAE’s heritage and looking to the future.

Visitors can experience authentic Emirati cuisine at the Pavilion Restaurant and view products by UAE-based creatives.
