
TOKYO: Japan has added one individual and removed another from its “Designated List for Asset Freezing and Other Measures against Terrorists and Others,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
On Tuesday, Japan added Abubakar Swalleh to the list in line with United Nations Security Council Resolutions to freeze assets and take other measures against Taliban-related individuals and others.
On Monday, Japan removed Hijaj Fahid Hijaj Muhammad Sahib al-Ajmi from the same list.
Japan has been applying asset freezing and other measures on terrorist-affiliated individuals and entities in line with United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1267, 1989, and 2253.
