
TOKYO: The 4th Japan-Tunisia Security and Counter-Terrorism Dialogue was held in Tokyo on Thursday with the discussions centered around the international and regional security environment, including terrorist threats and counter-terrorism measures in both countries, Japan’s Foreign Ministry reported.
Talks were also held to look at the possibility of cooperation between Japan and Tunisia in the fields of counter-terrorism, public safety and security.
MINAMI Hiroyuki, the Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador in charge of International Cooperation for Countering Terrorism and International Organized Crime, represented Japan, while Tunisia’s representative was Admiral Abderraouf Atallhah, Senior Advisor to the President of Tunisia.
