Japan’s “Crescent Vision Committee” announced in Tokyo on Friday evening that the crescent of Ramadan is not visible today, and therefore, based on the official announcement in Malaysia (the closest Muslim country to Japan,) it is decided that tomorrow, Saturday 23 May 2020, is the completion of Ramadan this year in Japan.

Accordingly, Sunday May 24, will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, the committee confirmed.
