On the occasion of the first anniversary of Arab News Japan, Japanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia UEMURA Tsukasa congratulated Arab News.

“There is not much news about Japan available in the Arab countries including here in Saudi Arabia and not much news about Arab world can be obtained in Japan. Most of the news are delivered by way of the Western news agencies or newspapers. Arab News is one of the few newspapers in the Arab world that covers various aspects of Japan including politics, economy, culture and society. Since Arab News Japan was launched one year ago, it has contributed to enhancing mutual understanding between the Japanese and the Arab people, by conveying news about the Arab world to the Japanese people directly in Japanese and vice versa in English. I would like to express my gratitude to Editor in Chief, Mr. Faisal. J. Abbas and staff of Arab News and Arab News Japan.”

“The world has faced an unprecedented crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic this year. I sincerely hope that the Japan-Arab relation will deepen further by overcoming this crisis together,” he concluded.
