TOKYO: The Japanese government expressed strong concern on Tuesday over Iran’s resumption of 20 percent uranium enrichment.

“We have strong concern about the breach of the nuclear agreement,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Katsunobu Kato told a press conference.

Japan will strongly urge the Middle East country to be committed to the 2015 nuclear deal and refrain from taking steps that would violate the deal, Kato said.
