The Ambassador of Oman to Japan Mohammed Al Busaidi received officials from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on June 11 at his office in Tokyo, where they exchanged views on strengthening mutual cooperation.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation through exploring possible opportunities and the advantages that Oman offers to attract foreign investments.

Commenting on the meeting, the Embassy of Oman in Japan tweeted: “The ambassador received officials from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the purpose of exchanging views on possible cooperation opportunities and the advantages offered by the Sultanate to attract foreign investments.”

Japan and Oman are comprehensive strategic partners with strong trade exchanges, the meeting affirms that both countries are keen on continuing as well as developing their bilateral relations.

Oman is also one of Japan’s crude oil suppliers and an important market for its exports.
