TOKYO: Japan and Bahrain agreed on Wednesday to continue discussions to reach an early conclusion on their investment agreement negotiations.
The two countries exchanged views during the third Japan-Bahrain meeting, held via video conferencing on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo said.
The meeting was attended by Katsutoshi Ishikawa, the regional coordinator, Middle East and Africa bureau at the Foreign Ministry, among other government officials.
From the Bahraini side, the meeting was attended by Shaikh Feras Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, director of the bilateral relations division at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, as well as other government officials.
