OSAKA: The 2025 World Expo in the western Japan city of Osaka will have nine types of admission fees, including a standard 6,000 yen for people aged between 18 and 64, informed sources said Wednesday.
The Osaka Expo will have a special opening discount ticket costing 3,300 yen for weekdays between the April 13 opening day and May 2.
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition plans to start selling tickets on July 1, 2023. The Osaka Expo is expected to attract some 28.2 million visitors.
The association is also considering selling an early ticket that would be used between the opening and July 18 for 4,000 yen.
It is also considering a 3,000-yen night discount ticket for entry at 5 p.m. and later, a 23,000-yen pass for unlimited entry and digital tickets using quick response, or QR, codes.
Admission would be free for those less than 4 years old and those aged 80 or over.
