TOKYO: The Japanese government said Tuesday that Palau President Surangel Whipps will visit Japan for four days from Wednesday.

During his visit, Whipps will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. They are expected to discuss ways to strengthen the two countries’ cooperation for realizing a free and open Indo-Pacific region and in other issues.
