UAE ambassador to Japan, Shihab Ahmed Al-Faheem gave a lecture entitled “Towards Achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050”at the Japan Center for Economics and Society (KKC) on Tuesday.
In his lecture, Al-Faheem explained the continuous efforts being implemented by the UAE to enable the transition towards clean energy and its keenness to support global energy security
He also elaborated on the UAE’s concerns over climate issues and explained how it aspired to develop a better future through cooperating with different countries in order to find practical solutions.
Additionally, Al-Faheem stressed on the UAE’s keenness to enhance their cooperation with Japan within various fields, re-confirming the strategic relationship that exists between the two countries.
