TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio has decided to replace Justice Minister HANASHI Yasuhiro over his gaffe, government sources said Friday.

Hanashi has come under fire for his remark that the justice minister is an unspectacular position in which one makes headlines only when putting his seal to approve executions.
