TOKYO:  Emperor Naruhito returned to the Imperial Palace on Wednesday following a biopsy on his prostate gland after his PSA was found to be elevated.

 

In addition to the biopsy on November 27, the Emperor also had an MRI screening of his prostate earlier in the month.

 

The Imperial Household Agency said that apart from the elevated PSA score, the Emperor’s test results were positive.

 

The Emperor acknowledged people waiting to greet him at the gates of the palace on his return.
