DUBAI: Governor of Tokyo KOIKE Yuriko and UAE Ambassador to Japan Shihab Ahmed Alfaheem attended a high-profile business meeting with a Japanese delegation representing SMEs and emerging companies.
The meeting, which was held in the presence of Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, focused on companies that specialized in a variety of fields, including sustainability, water recycling, agricultural technology, health technologies and more.
According to the UAE Embassy in Tokyo, the meeting served as a prime opportunity for participants from various entities and local private sector representatives to delve into new business prospects in Abu Dhabi and explore the investment opportunities available within the Japanese market.
The aim of the meeting was to underscore the chamber’s “dedication to strengthening business ties between Abu Dhabi and Japan, thereby broadening growth prospects for the local private sector.”
Koike was on a nine-day Middle East tour that ran until Nov. 14.
