Saudi authorities arrest 4 people in drug bust

RIYADH: Two Egyptians and two Saudis were arrested in the Eastern Province for trafficking 20,000 amphetamine pills, Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Narcotics Control reported on Saturday.

In Jazan’s Al-Arda district, border guard land patrols thwarted an attempt to smuggle 380 kg of qat.

The Saudi government has urged anyone with information related to suspected smuggling operations or customs violations to call its confidential hotline 1910, the international number 00 966 114208417, or email [email protected].
