RIYADH: The Saudi Cabinet on Tuesday expressed its pride in the Kingdom’s journey and rich history, as well as its unity and stability over the years, on the occasion of the Saudi Founding Day, which falls on Thursday.
Over nearly three centuries, the Cabinet said the state had aimed to provide a better future for everyone who lives on this land, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Cabinet was then briefed on all the state’s activities in recent days, especially those related to strengthening relations with various countries.
It followed regional and international developments, reiterating what the Kingdom affirmed during its participation in the Munich Security Conference this week, that the priority is ending the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and applying a ceasefire.
The Council also noted the addition of three new Saudi cities to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, and the Kingdom’s achievement of the highest growth rate among major tourist destinations in the world, and topping the e-government services index at the level of the Middle East and North Africa.
