DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Japan Dr. Ghazi Binzagr met with Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME)’s Chairman KODAIRA Nobuyori on Thursday.

The two officials highlighted the valuable role that JCCME plays in supporting Japanese investment in Saudi Arabia, in sectors such as healthcare, industry and entertainment.

JCCME’s history in Saudi Arabia dates back to the 1990’s with its regional headquarters in Riyadh. Since then, it has expanded in Dammam and the Eastern Province by opening an office for its Investment Desk, while another office for its Water Desk has been opened in Jeddah.

In 2018, the JCCME set up an investment promotion scheme based on the results of the task force’s recommendations with a view to contributing to the realization of Saudi-Japan Vision 2030, within the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030.
