
RIYADH: The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, operating under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and led by Secretary-General Majed Al-Fawiz, is participating in the Global Initiative for Safety, Health, and Well-being (GISHW) Conference, held alongside Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from July 16 to 19.
The Saudi delegation also includes representatives from the Ministry of Energy and the private sector.
This participation is part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to highlight its advancements in occupational safety, health, and employee well-being. The Council, along with the Ministry of Energy and several national companies, is showcasing key programs and initiatives at the conference’s accompanying exhibition. These include technologies aimed at improving work environments, as well as national efforts in training, awareness and incident reporting.
The Council’s pavilion drew strong interest from international delegates and attendees, who explored Saudi Arabia’s modern policies and practices designed to align with global safety standards and support the goals of Vision 2030.
The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health emphasized that its participation underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to global collaboration, knowledge exchange, and leadership in building safe, healthy, and sustainable workplaces.
