Around 29 Saudi engineers completed their Quality Control (QC) training program at the MODON in Jeddah.

The qualified engineers received completion certifications from Mohammad Bin AbdulWahab Sharyan, Director of Western Sector, MODON, and Masayuki Miyamoto, Consul General of Japan in Jeddah.

The training program which will be held over three stages is being organized jointly by the Kingdom and Japan as part of a long-term strategic partnership between the two countries.

The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources planned the program together with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and organizations including SME Support Japan and Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME).

The remaining two trainings -- Six Sigma and Lean Production System – will be held from February 2 to 6 and February 16 to 20 respectively in MODON, Jeddah.
