RIYADH: King Salman of Saudi Arabia has appointed Prince Abdulrahman bin Ayyaf Al-Muqrin as deputy minister of defense on Sunday.

The King also issued a royal decree to appoint Nizar bin Suleiman bin Ali Al-Aloula as an advisor at the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, and Khalid bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkarim as an advisor at the Royal Court.

Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-ASheikh has been appointed as vice chairman of the Human Rights Commission.
