DUBAI: In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Hello Kitty has collaborated with the Japanese electronics company Casio to release a special Baby-G-themed watch. 

The Hello Kitty-themed timepiece also celebrates Baby G’s 30th anniversary, which debuted in 1994 as a woman’s watch with the same concept as the G-Shock.

The collaboration is a BGD-565 model, Baby-G’s classic first-generation model, in white, red, and blue colors, representing the iconic cat’s signature colors. 

The watch’s band features Hello Kitty’s printed face, displaying a variety of emotions. Additionally, the character’s face is also engraved on the back of the watch.

The timepiece comes with special Hello Kitty-themed packaging.

Similar to other Casio watches, the timepiece features shock and water resistance as well as a three-year battery life,  a stopwatch, and a countdown timer.
