DUBAI: Marvel Universe Live! is coming to Dubai at the Coca-Cola Arena starting Jan 31 to Feb. 4.

The show will feature a cast of all of Marvel’s favorite superheroes like Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk, Black Widow, Loki, Green Goblin, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, including Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket, and Drax and Nebula.

The event will include 42 performers and over 100 different costumes. Arab News Japan got a sneak peak of what fans can expect from the live performance.

The show’s organizers and entertainers showed Arab News Japan the various flow tools used as weapons in the show, along with the different fight techniques and sequences fans will be watching on the day of the show.

A behind-the-scenes look also introduced what the costumes look like, with some even using special material that is fireproof. All the costumes are meant to give off a realistic look.

The performers also showed off what the props are made out of, ensuring that the performance weaponry is made out of light materials to make it easier for the performers to hold throughout the show.

Makeup artists also gave a preview of what the show’s makeup would look like, noting that it has to be heavier and darker than usual in order to give the full effect on stage.

SESLIVE! in association with Live Nation and FELD Entertainment organized the event, which will start running next week.

Marvel Universe Live! also ran in Jeddah from Sept. 27 to Oct. 20 last year, as one of the stops on the production’s world tour.
