The Dubai office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will exhibit at the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) scheduled from Feb. 9 to 11, in collaboration with a local streaming service provider for Japanese anime in the MENA region, Spacetooon Go.

Prior to MEFCC, JETRO collaborated with Spacetoon Go to exclusively distribute ‘Japan Anime Street’, a streaming section of Japanese anime dubbed in Arabic, on its online streaming platform, Spacetoon Go.

JETRO aims to introduce and promote ‘Japan Anime Street’ service to Middle Eastern anime fans by exhibiting with Spacetoon Go at MEFCC, one of the largest comic conventions in the Middle East.

The company will also promote its online catalog, JAPAN STREET, exclusively for overseas buyers at the event, which lists more than 500 content-related works including video, animation, music, games, and licensing businesses. JETRO Dubai will combine these in-person events with online business meetings, contributing to promoting and bringing in Japanese streaming content businesses in the Middle East and expanding appropriate licensing businesses.
