DUBAI: Tokyo DisneySea is preparing to launch its highly anticipated new area, Fantasy Springs, on June 9, as they revealed the first look 100 days before its launch.
Fantasy Spring will feature some of Disney’s iconic movies, such as ‘Frozen,’ ‘Peter Pan,’ and ‘Tangled.’ The park will include four rides within approximately 140,000 square meters of land.
It will be located between the resort’s Lost River Delta and the Arabian Coast areas. Construction for it began in May 2019.
A ‘Rapunzel’s Forest’ area, based on the 2010 movie Tangled, will include a tour that showcases Rapunzel’s story as she falls in love with Flynn Rider. Disney describes the area as a romantic and thrilling getaway.
The area will also include a Snuggly Duckling restaurant, based on the restaurant in the movie.
The ‘Peter Pan Never Land’ area will bring the popular attractions from the ‘Peter Pan’ movie to life as guests will be able to explore many destinations like The Jolly Roger, the home of Captain Hook.
The ‘Frozen Kingdom,’ based on the 2013 movie ‘Frozen,’ will include the ice palace as well as the famous castle. Guests can dine at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle, which will include books and artwork from the movie.
Additionally, Fantasy Springs will launch the ‘Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel’ where guests will be able to stay nearby the theme park. The interior will be inspired by Disney princesses Flora and Founa from the 1959 film Sleeping Beauty, further immersing guests in the experience.
