DUBAI: Osaka Expo recently announced a collaboration with the infamous Sanrio brand Hello Kitty with a set of products including t-shirts and keychains.

The organizer and the licensing office of the 2025 World Expo in Osaka launched the products with one of the world’s most popular cat characters on July 12 in order to create excitement for the global event.

The official products feature Myaku-Myaku, the mascot of the Expo, and Hello Kitty as well as other Sanrio characters.

A launch event was held with attendance by Hello Kitty, the expo’s special supporter, and Myaku-Myaku mascots.

The merchandise, which also includes ballpens, memo pads and stickers will be available at the expo’s official stores, the official website and some Sanrio shops.

A second batch of the tie-up products is scheduled to be launched in fall.
