With the recent cancellation of Rakuten Fashion Week in Tokyo for Fall/Winter 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak, it was announced the shows will go ahead through online live-streaming.

Music events and stores’ shows, including Supreme, have had to be cancelled following the outbreak of COVID-19. However, Tokyo Fashion Week FW20 will live-stream runway shows, except without the front-row audience appearing.

The plan to live-stream came after talks of postponing the shows until at least the summer of 2020.

All the shows will be aired on Tokyo Fashion Week’s website.

Like many other industries, the fashion business has been hit hard due to the virus outbreak, with Seoul Fashion Week FW20 also canceling its plans.
