DUBAI: The UAE is set to witness a groundbreaking event as the first edition of the JPEX Entertainment Exhibition (JPEX 2025) is officially announced. Taking place from April 25 to 27 at Expo City, JPEX promises to be the premier destination for fans of Japanese culture, anime, and entertainment in the region.

JPEX was founded by four Emiratis, driven by a shared passion for Japanese entertainment and a mission to bring world-class cultural experiences to the UAE. This inaugural event is set to highlight both the global influence of Japanese pop culture and the growing fanbase across the Middle East.

JPEX’s mascot, Suhil, is a guardian of creativity, a seeker of connections, and a symbol of the limitless imagination that defines JPEX. With his shimmering red tails, adorned with intricate patterns of Middle Eastern and Japanese art, Suhail bridges two rich cultures into one dynamic personality.

The event will feature celebrity guests from Japan, including renowned anime voice actors and a Japanese pop singer, as well as traditional cultural showcases such as tea ceremonies, calligraphy, and kimono demonstrations. It will also present a vibrant artist alley, vendor booths, and a collectibles market.

“We are proud to launch JPEX as a new cultural platform that bridges Japan and the Middle East,” said the event’s spokesperson. “JPEX 2025 is more than just a convention, it’s a celebration of artistry, tradition, and community.”

The event will welcome thousands of fans, families, and collectors from across the UAE and beyond, offering an inclusive and engaging environment for attendees of all ages.

Tickets for JPEX are available now on Platinumlist starting from 4,212 yen for a 1-day pass.
