Japanese cover of Doja Cat’s hit song ‘Say So’ grabs singer’s attention

Doja Cat’s popular hit song “Say So,” is everywhere from TikTok to mainstream radio stations worldwide.

An Indonesian YouTuber, Rainych Ran, has managed to create a Japanese cover for the popular song that has gained the attention of social media users as well as Doja Cat herself.

The American singer reacted to a comment on her Instagram Live video suggesting she should listen to the Japanese cover of her hit song on Monday.

Doja Cat danced along to the track and said, “that mix is beautiful.”

She added that Ran’s voice is “beautiful.”

The YouTube video has garnered over two million views, after it was posted on March 24.

Ran took to Twitter to exclaim her happiness, saying she couldn’t ask for more luck than her favorite artist hearing her cover.

Doja Cat fans also praised the cover with some even asking for a collaboration between Doja Cat and Ran.

“Say So” is currently on the Hot 100 list, reaching a new peak of #9 this week while nearing 250 million streams on Spotify.

This track is Doja Cat’s first Hot 100 Top 10 hit.
