TOKYO: The official release of the Naruto Shippuden collection with Converse is expected to launch on May 22. 

The iconic high-top silhouette echoes the color palette worn by Kakashi in the manga series, with Converse’s distinct colors of grey and blue. 

The red-grey embroidery also references the character’s past history in the show with ANBU Black Ops, the organization that he was part of in the show. 

The shoes also pay homage to the complex Itachi Uchiha, with the unique jacquard underlay mirroring his famous cloak.

Fans will also have the opportunity to further customize their sneakers through the ‘Converse By You’ digital customization. 

For this launch, the customers can change the shoe’s canvas color, tongue print liner, toe cap, license plate, or add a wide selection of graphic prints directly inspired by the anime.
