FUKUOKA: Nintendo is set to open a new store in Fukuoka later this year, marking the company’s first store on the far west side of Japan.
The city is considered an ideal location due to its local population and international airport.
Nintendo Fukuoka, like its counterparts in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, will offer the company’s titles and merchandise—ranging from plush toys and apparel to houseware, stationery, and snacks.
The store will also sell Nintendo hardware and software.
While the official opening date has not yet been announced, the store will be centrally located in JR Hakata City’s Amu Plaza, which connects to JR Hakata Station.
