Italian fashion house Gucci has recently indulged in an art-related project by teaming up with a Japanese contemporary artist and artist Yuko Higuchi.
Yuko Higuchi is an acclaimed illustrator and children’s book author from Tokyo who is notorious for her illustrations portraying nature inspired motifs and anthropomorphic animals, which commonly feature cats.

The more recent chapter of the collaboration between the two parties was built around a children's collection featuring surrealistic designs by the Japanese artist on a collection of ready-to-wear apparel, bags, shoes, hats and children's accessories for the label’s Children’s Cruise 2020 collection.
As part of the label’s Children’s Cruise 2020 collection, illustrations by the Tokyo-based artist have been collected in a sketchbook with games including, coloring pages and labyrinths (amongst others) that are free to download on Gucci’s website.
