The official trailer for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc was released, giving fans an exciting first look at the highly anticipated cinematic continuation of the anime series.
Produced by Japanese animation studio MAPPA and directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, the film adapts the explosive “Bomb Girl” arc from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga, picking up the story right after season one.
The trailer hints at a dramatic tonal shift, combining intense action with emotional depth as Denji meets Reze, a mysterious café worker who turns his world upside down.
The preview also unveiled the film’s new theme song, “IRIS OUT,” written and performed by Kenshi Yonezu.
This marks Yonezu’s second contribution to the franchise, following the hit opening track “KICK BACK” for the TV anime. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will premiere in Japanese theaters on September 19.
An international release is confirmed, with Sony Pictures Entertainment securing worldwide theatrical rights. The film will open in the US and UK on October 29.
