Japan has officially opened the life-sized Godzilla structure on the Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture announced last year, with a thrilling zip-line experience.
The structure is located at the Nijigen’nomori theme park on the island and launched earlier this month.
Visitors can now get geared up and zip-line through the monster’s gaping mouth, illuminated with blue lights, while others shoot at the monster from outside.
All these activities are part of the park’s Godzilla Interception Operation, and will cost adults $35 USD (3,680 yen), and there will be a price of $7 USD (737.76 yen) for children under 7 and $20 (2,107.9 yen) for those under 11.
To build to the excitement, a twitter account was launched: the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center (@GODZILLA_NIGOD) as well as @GODZILLA_AWAJI, both reporting on the attraction’s progress and any relevant news as well.
