Earlier in September Studio Ghibli offered 400 images from their films to be downloaded by the public, and they have now added another 250 images to the collection.
Many of the initial images were from films like When Marnie Was There, Ponyo, The Secret World of Arrietty, The Wind Rises, and Spirited Away, amongst others
The newest release features images from new films, including images of the studio’s beloved character and scenes.
The collection includes 50 images from each of the five newly added films, including 80s and 90s classics: My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Pom Poko as well as Studio Ghibli’s coming of age story, Ocean Waves.
The range includes many action shots from the films, exemplified by the image of planes in the sky from the film Porco Rosso, or Kiki on a broomstick, or even of Totoro flying above a moonlit town
Studio Ghibli’s third batch also includes shots of favored characters like Totoro, alongside other notable characters like the Catbus, Mei and Satsuki.
Fans can also download aesthetic shots from Ocean Waves, featuring more urban settings.
These images can be used to print, or as screensavers and are available to download on the Studio Ghibli website.
