DUBAI: Netflix has announced the fourth and final season of Netflix’s Castlevania animated series, which will premiere on May 13.

In addition, Deadline entertainment website reported that Netflix is looking at a new series set in the same Castlevania universe with an entirely new cast of characters.

The story of Netflix’s Castlevania animated series is based on the 1989 NES/Famicom game ‘Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse’ of Konami’s Castlevania game series.

The first four-episode season of the Netflix’s Castlevania premiered worldwide on Netflix in July 2017.

The second eight-episode season premiered worldwide in October 2018 and the third season premiered in March 2020.

Sam Deats is directing Netflix’s Castlevania animated series, Warren Ellis is the writer and executive producer, and other executive producers include Fred Seibert, Kevin Kolde and Adi Shankar, who developed the series.
