Nintendo postpones release of Super Mario movie to April 2023

KYOTO: Nintendo Co. said Tuesday that it will postpone the release of an animated film featuring the popular Super Mario game series until April 2023.

The movie is now set to be released in North America on April 7, 2023, and in Japan on April 28 the same year. In North America, it was scheduled to be released in December 2022.

“Please give us a little more time to create a fun movie,” Nintendo’s creative fellow Shigeru Miyamoto said on Twitter.
