Jameel Arts Centre, a contemporary arts institution based in Dubai, is back again with their annual Youth Takeover which will be on display starting May 18 until June 5.
The event is organized by a younger crowd that are under-25, featuring a range of exhibitions, talks and workshops centred around the theme smol—illustrating the journey towards the inner child, according to Jameel Arts Centre.
Some of the workshops available at the centre as part of their public programming include White Page Anxiety, where guests can work on their Arabic creative writing skills, and a clay hand-building sessions open for families and teenagers.
Guests can also attend various seminars including Madina Tlostanova: Art as a tool for “worlding.”
Some of the members that participated include Ibrahim, Khaled Esguerra, mango, Vedika Kushallapa and YONI.
