Kinoya, the renowned Japanese restaurant based in Dubai, which was recently awarded the Bib Gourmand by the prestigious 2022 Michelin Guide, added another feather to their cap.
Thanks to Harrods, the world’s leading luxury department store, Kinoya’s signature Izakaya and Ramen cuisine will make its foray into UK.
According to a press release, Harrods said they were delighted to reveal their upcoming partnership with Kinoya from Dubai.
Scheduled to open in 2023, Harrods will unveil the new restaurant in a prime location within the Knightsbridge store, thus making it the first Japanese dining experience in London.
The partnership marks another milestone for Harrods restaurants and showcases the store’s commitment as a culinary destination to bringing together an unrivalled portfolio of acclaimed chefs and restaurant partners from around the world.
Neha Mishra, chef-owner of Kinoya, commented: “Opening Kinoya in Harrods, the most iconic department store in the world, feels serendipitously meaningful. The launch and partnership with Harrods marks our London debut, and I am honoured and excited to bring our philosophy and unique take on Japanese cuisine to the buzzing city of London for customers to enjoy.”
Ashley Saxton, General Manager of Restaurants at Harrods, also said he was delighted at the tie-up between Harrods and Kinoya.
