Cairo’s Japan Foundation hosts short video contest

DUBAI: The Japan Foundation in Cairo announced a Japanese Short Video Contest in the Middle East and North Africa in collaboration with MENA Japanese Language Network and Cairo Japanese Club.

The contest’s general viewing of the videos began on Jan. 22, while the final results will be announced live on Feb. 18. An award for the most liked video will also be announced on Feb. 16.

The theme of the videos is ‘My Day,’ in which Japanese language learners must showcase their everyday life in Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and UAE.

Those interested in participating in the contest can view the videos by scanning the QR code below and voting by ‘liking’ the favored clip.
