Japan sees its fiscal-year 2025 primary balance remaining in deficit, Jiji says

TOKYO: The Japanese government has compiled an estimate showing its primary budget balance for national and local governments will remain in deficit in the year starting April, the Jiji news agency said on Tuesday.

The previous estimate in July showed that Japan would achieve a goal of running a primary budget surplus this year.
