TOKYO: Japan’s MEDiDENT and Saudi Arabia’s Web Arabia are expanding digital health collaborations in the Kingdom and Qatar, with MEDiDENT strengthening its presence in the Middle East.

CEO Daisuke Tomita attended the Qatar-Saudi Business Forum to explore digital health advancements, medical device integration and workforce training in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Tomita engaged with key stakeholders, including Saudi Commerce Minister Dr. Majid bin Abdullah al-Kassabi and Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed al-Sayed, presenting MEDiDENT’s vision for regional digital health.

MEDiDENT and Web Arabia are actively implementing Japan’s digital health model, tailoring solutions to local needs.

The Japanese company is exploring a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia’s National Consulting Group to address healthcare sector challenges and contribute to Saudi Vision 2030. This collaboration aims to enhance medical services and provide innovative solutions for the Saudi healthcare system.

MEDiDENT completed its second visit to Al Faisal University, where Prof. Khaled Al-Kattan, vice president at Alfaisal University, and his team led by Naif Alotaibi expressed strong interest in collaboration and integrating MEDiDENT’s digital health expertise into teaching and training programs.

MEDiDENT is also in talks with Dar Miral Group Clinics, Saudi Arabia’s leading dental care provider with 50 clinics, to enhance efficiency and patient care through advanced dental technologies and new training programs.
