


Hisham Aljadhey, Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s CEO, held a meeting with representatives of leading Japanese companies in the food, drug, and medical device industries in Tokyo, where SFDA showcased its initiatives to support and empower both domestic and international investors.
Aljadhey stressed the importance of collaborating with Japanese investors as well as SFDA’s commitment to enhance the regulatory landscape and develop supporting policies.
SFDA’s efforts are aligned with the Health Sector Transformation Program, a core part of the Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve partnerships and attract investments.
The roundtable was held in conjunction with the Saudi delegation’s participation in the 27th Annual Meeting of the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF) in Tokyo.
The meeting reflects the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries across various areas.
