Finance leaders of the Group of Seven nations will hold a teleconference on Wednesday to discuss measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be the latest of several teleconferences held by G7 finance leaders since the spread of the pandemic that has pushed the global economy to the verge of deep recession.
Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso is scheduled to speak to reporters after the teleconference.
The G-7 finance ministers hold a teleconference to discuss response to COVID-19 every two to three weeks. The last session took place May 19.
