TOKYO: Saudi Arabia provided Japan with 29.761 million barrels of crude oil in last October, or 42.4 percent of total imports, data released by the Agency of Energy and Natural Resource in Tokyo showed.
In that month, Japan imported from UAE 21.850 million barrels or 31.2 percent while Kuwait provided 5.363million barrels or 7.6 percent.
Oil imports from Qatar accounted for 4.968 million barrels or 7.1 percent.
Arab oil accounted for 63.389 million barrels or 90.4 percent, of Japan’s petroleum needs in October.
Japan’s total crude oil imports in that month amounted to 70.145 million barrels, the agency said.
