Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko will be speaking at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) first “Global Technology Governance Summit 2021,” announced the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) on Wednesday.
The summit, which will be held virtually, will take place April 7. The theme of the panel discussion, which Koike will participate in, will be “Leading Industry Transformation.”
The discussion will talk about how the COVID-19 pandemic forced businesses to accelerate the adoption of new technologies and operating models while responding to heightened expectations for societal engagement and corporate citizenship.
Other public speakers include Chairman of Asia Pacific Initiative Funabashi Yoichi, Chairman at Siemens and Maersk Jim Hagemann Snabe and Serbian politician Ana Brnabić.
