DUBAI: The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) welcomed Japanese start-ups to the UAE last week to explore the market in the region.

They welcomed 11 startups with innovative solutions in various sectors such as energy, medical, food and space tech.

JETRO organized a series of events to help the start-ups learn more about the market and introduce them to potential partners.

The delegation was headed by JETRO Executive Vice President Ichiro Sone.
